Harts Man,106, Dies At His Home A Harts Man, Ulysses (Uncle Woob) Conley died yesterday afternoon at his home at the age of 106. Death followed a lingering illness. Conley was born April 19, 1856, at Harts Creek, a son of the late Garland and Molley Farley Conley. He was a retired timberman. Surviving are five daughters; Mrs. Ned Samson of Cherry Tree, Mrs Gallie Kilgore of Huntington, Mrs. Enoch Samson of Holden, Mrs Maude Conley of Chapmanville, and Miss Nancy Conley at home. Seven sons; Moscoe, Drewey, Noah, Russel, Don, Lacey, and Ulysses Conley Jr. all of Chapmanville. 84 grandchildren, 143 greatgrandchildren and 8 greatgreatgrandchildren. Funeral Services are to be held at 2 pm, Friday, at the residence. The Rev Ray Taylor and the Rev. Stonewall Hensley are to be officiate with burial following in the Jess Conley Cemetary at Harts. James Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The body is to be taken to his old home place at Harts at 5 p.m. today.
