Garland Cut Conley was my Grandmother's Dad - her name was Laura Jane Conley - she would tell me stories about her dad and how he was working in the garden and sat on a large rock and took cold and died not long after from pneumonia. She loved her dad dearly and would tell us grand children many stories about him. So good to see this and the many others that are mentioned on this site.
